Gold Fish

Rebecca wanted to make a green velvet kelp boa, I wanted to make Rebecca into a gold sequined fish, so we did both! The "paddles" are soft and fluffy on the kelp boa, and anatomically correct, based on kelp photos from the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. The gold arm sleeves have red/gold sparkling gauzy fabric fins to match the long flowing skirt. Rebecca quickly beaded a gill necklace and we added some of my grandmother's rhinestones for extra sparkle.
If that doesn't make them jump out of the bowl, I don't know what will?
